Role Summary

As an Operations Manager at National Trench Safety, you will utilize your leadership capabilities to oversee and enhance the overall delivery of high-quality services, aiming to maximize branch efficiency and logistics. Collaborating closely with the Branch Manager, you will prioritize safety, exceptional customer service, and adherence to standardized processes to ensure effective and efficient operations. This role is classified as safety-sensitive, necessitating compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy and strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Branch Manager in executing strategies to meet financial targets.
  • Analyze business performance using planned data and propose decisions to address significant operational opportunities, including optimizing route sales growth, pricing strategies, product inventory management, and labor cost control.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, and development of staff and frontline personnel.
  • Enhance core processes and positively impact client relationships and business prospects.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Ensure daily operations are executed as scheduled.
  • Manage performance evaluations for direct reports, including Inside Sales Representatives, Drivers, and other relevant staff.
  • Support the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all organizational policies.
  • Act in the capacity of the Branch Manager during their absence.
  • Supervise rental operations and manage daily paperwork flow.
  • Coordinate with sales personnel regarding job assignments, quotes, and issues.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles.
  • Ensure that safety training and protocols are implemented and followed at the branch.
  • Be available on a 24-hour basis for customer needs and facility security alarm situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
