Midea, a leading global home appliance brand, seeks a skilled logistics professional to support its expanding operations in the U.S. This role is a key part of the company's supply chain management team, responsible for ensuring smooth and timely delivery of containers to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Container Tracking and Reporting: Provide daily and weekly reports to stakeholders, including the In-transit report, DI-DDP Risk report, and Transit Time Dashboard.
  • Shipment Monitoring and Communication: Communicate with carriers to expedite, divert, or transload shipments and approve associated costs.
  • Customs Clearance and Compliance: Ensure customs documents are sent to Midea's U.S. customs clearance broker in a timely manner.
  • Delivery Issue Resolution: Assist drayage carriers with resolving delivery issues and follow up with drayage carriers to provide delivery status in Midea's Transportation Management System (TMS).

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Organized and responsible, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 1-3 years of Import Logistics and Supply Chain experience
