Director of Employee Relations, Enrollment Services

The Office of the Vice President is seeking a Director of Employee Relations. This position is responsible for managing all human resource functions for the nine departments and approximately 250 permanent staff within the Enrollment and Student Administration unit. Key duties encompass talent acquisition, compensation management, onboarding processes, performance evaluation, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The role also facilitates Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committees, improves onboarding and training initiatives, and oversees performance assessments. Furthermore, the Director is involved in proposing and executing HR policies, fostering a positive work environment, and acting as Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a resource for managers and staff regarding HR policies
  • Reviewing and revising job descriptions and salary structures
  • Leading EDI committees
  • Training supervisors on HR best practices
  • Developing onboarding protocols and HR analytics
  • Managing SAP actions
  • Supervising performance management processes
