Position Overview:
Patient Access Coordinators serve as a centralized resource for patient access to physician and radiology services across various specialties. This encompasses Internal and Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management.


Patient Access Coordinators excel in fast-paced environments, possess strong multitasking abilities, are technically proficient, service-oriented, and communicate effectively while consistently demonstrating professionalism.

They provide an outstanding experience to patients, clients, and physicians who reach out to the Access Center by facilitating patient access throughout Cooper's provider network.

Educational Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Special Skills:


Candidates must exhibit a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional Customer Experience that aligns with Cooper's objectives related to patient access across the organization.


Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey relevant information and instructions in a clear and organized manner.

Capability to meet or exceed defined quantitative and qualitative performance metrics for the role.

A collaborative team player with a sincere interest in resolving customer inquiries.

Enjoyment in interacting and working cooperatively within a team setting.

Ability to assess issues and swiftly determine the most effective resolution; strong decision-making capabilities.

Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Quick learning ability is a must.

Excellent time management and organizational skills are required.

Proficiency in computer usage, including the Internet, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Familiarity with EPIC systems is advantageous.

Willingness to work varied hours and shifts as business needs evolve.

Ability to utilize a telephone headset and manipulate objects such as a pen, keyboard, and mouse.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
