About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Oxford Instruments. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the scientific community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize sales potential and achieve sales targets for confocal products and services.
  • Setup and demonstrate Andor confocal microscopy systems to potential buyers, workshop attendees, and trade show attendees.
  • Generate, qualify, and manage sales leads, prospects, and new customer accounts.
  • Maintain and report sales forecasts, customer feedback, and activity plans.
  • Provide leadership to channel partners and work with regional application specialists.
  • Record and maintain customer contact data in Andor's CRM tool.
  • Execute against customer visit metrics and product demonstration requests.
  • Strengthen existing customer and channel relationships and develop new business relationships within the defined territory.
  • Identify new potential customers for e-shot campaigns and trade shows.
  • Evaluate product and service offerings in terms of customers' technical needs.
  • Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and offer feedback and suggestions to improve product solutions.
About the Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent experience in a life science discipline. A Postgraduate degree in a life science discipline is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' experience in capital equipment sales involving highly technical products or extensive research/laboratory experience with a strong interest and drive toward sales and business achievement. Prior experience selling confocal and/or EMCCD microscopy systems is strongly preferred.
