About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a critical role in developing training programs that transform intelligence analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture customer training needs and advise on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission.
  • Design performance support tools that put the learner at the center of the training experience.
  • Prepare training material following the ADDIE model.
  • Use technical skills, creativity, and experience to develop engaging, interactive learning experiences on screen or in a classroom.
  • Recommend cutting-edge multimedia technologies and strategies, including blended learning, to build a successful learning environment.
  • Meet with SMEs throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback.
  • Collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model and fine-tune training for maximum impact.
  • Hone leadership skills by sharing expertise through leadership and mentoring.
  • Identify new opportunities to build solutions to customer learning needs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in training course development, instruction, intelligence analysis, or military capabilities.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, intelligence analysis tradecraft, and national security concepts.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.
