About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop machine learning models to solve complex business problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our products and services
  • Develop and maintain high-quality machine learning code using Python, R, or other relevant programming languages
  • Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines to support machine learning model development
  • Conduct statistical analyses and data visualization to support business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field
  • Experience with natural language processing and large language models
  • Experience with RAG framework
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, including linear, reinforcement learning, tree-based, or deep learning-based methods
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into a production environment
  • Experience with programming in Python, Java, or C++
  • Experience with databases, including SQL
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing software architectures with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with JavaScript frameworks
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Ability to work in a Linux environment with bash scripting
  • Master's degree
