THE POSITION:


We are looking for a qualified and driven individual to become part of our team as a Supply Chain Operations Lead within our Network Technology Solutions Group.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to synchronize on the DDR technology roadmap, internal product development cycles, ASICs/DDR qualification timelines, and lead times. You will closely monitor demand and manage supply to support new product introduction qualification schedules and volume production to facilitate revenue shipments.

Collaborate with internal teams to establish effective systems and tools for approvals, reporting, and tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Sales & Operations Planning and Factory Operations to ensure accurate demand is communicated and processed with suppliers and contract manufacturers, aligning with customer orders or anticipated orders.
  • Partner with Global Operations Quality (BOPS, Global Logistics, Customer Operations, Procurement) and the legal compliance team to ensure that order processing and fulfillment are executed seamlessly to meet on-time delivery key performance indicators for customers.
  • Ensure accuracy in system transactions. Investigate and resolve all discrepancies related to order transactions, including root cause analysis and communication to prevent future occurrences.
  • Serve as a primary contact and representative for AMD's sales and field teams as well as customers. Provide timely updates on shipment statuses and expedite resolutions with internal partners as necessary.
  • Monitor the integrity of the ERP system and address business system gaps. Collaborate with Global Operations Quality, IT, and Finance to automate system transactions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Manage finished goods inventory (Boards and ASICs) and support initiatives aimed at reducing finished goods inventory levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • A strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex situations will be essential for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • System-oriented with solid ERP experience.
  • Process-driven, organized, adaptable, and a reliable team player.
  • Strong project and program management skills and capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to present findings and recommendations to executive audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficient in building and leading cross-regional teams.
  • Willingness to work across time zones as required.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
A Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.

COMPENSATION:
At AMD, your base salary is one component of your total rewards package.

Your base salary will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location within the hiring range for the position.

You may qualify for incentives based on your role, such as an annual bonus or sales incentive.
