Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of received items to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks, vans, and flatbed trailers manually or using forklifts.
  • Track lost or missing shipments.
  • Authenticate receipt of shipments alongside relevant documentation.
  • Enter receipts into the system.
  • Collaborate with associates for special requests or projects on the dock.
  • Provide hours worked by temporary staff for specific projects.
  • Generate work request tickets for completed tasks.
  • Maintain a log of all outgoing shipments.
  • Create custom packaging for high-profile accounts.
  • Process and deliver all incoming mail and shipments.
  • Pack, label, and ship all outgoing letters and packages.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Follow instructions accurately.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in dock and warehouse areas.
  • Assist with room setups and tear downs.
  • Prepare for large company events.
  • Drive company vehicles for parts and material delivery.
  • Support assembly and custom packing of finished goods.
  • Assist maintenance as required.
  • Fabricate custom packaging materials.
  • Assemble and disassemble office furniture systems.
  • Support receiving duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Physical requirements include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and sitting; must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Technical skills include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment; proficiency with hand and power tools is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with Excel.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Timely responsiveness to requests.
  • Ability to report project statuses promptly.

***Compensation: $17.50-$18.00 per hour***
