Supported Living Services Specialist

The Supported Living Services Technician provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as moderate to severe behavioral challenges. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, and understanding to empower participants to live independently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal support services to participants, including skill training, assessment, counseling, intervention, and advocacy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address participants' needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and provide comprehensive support services.
- Document all services and progress in accordance with company protocol and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to provide input and contribute to participants' care.
- Facilitate positive interactions with peers, coworkers, supervisors, and families.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws when working with participants.
- Present effective and confidential communication that is professional and respectful.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year experience working as DSP staff or SLS Technicians.
- DSP1 & DSP2 certification required.
- Ability to work independently, use good judgment, and remain calm in crisis situations.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background screening.
