Clinical Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Akron Children's Hospital. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with nights from 7pm-7:30am. The successful candidate will assist the manager in daily operations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction regarding unit goals and work environment.
- Demonstrate personal and professional accountability for self and staff.
- Maintain unit safety for staff and patients.
- Participate in performance improvement.
- Support staff recruitment and retention efforts.
- Use critical thinking to provide patient care management.
- Support human resource management, including coaching, time keeping, and development of nursing personnel.
- Promote a positive work environment and staff engagement.
- Serve as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
- Valid Ohio license.
- Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association.
- Relevant professional nursing certification, preferred.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN required.
- Minimum two years relevant clinical experience with demonstrated management and leadership abilities.
- Previous charge nurse or other leadership experience is required.
