Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and the standards of practice for your specialty and state.

In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, you will offer personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

- Execute procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.

- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in the event of any adverse reactions.

- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating needs, and resolving issues.

- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring comprehensive understanding by simplifying complex medical terminology.


Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (employees with RN Compact License must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required.

- Ability to work Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
