Join Our Team as an Enrichment Center Instructor
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and mission-driven professional to join our team as an Enrichment Center Instructor at Hazelwood Center. As an Enrichment Center Instructor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement client-specific lesson plans to promote personal growth and development.
- Author long-term goals and objectives to support client success.
- Plan and coordinate client events, such as birthday parties, holiday events, and cooking classes.
- Provide transportation to community outings, employment, or volunteer opportunities.
- Teach skills to individuals with intellectual disabilities to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
- Complete assessments and evaluations to inform client care and support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health.
