Role Summary:

As a Commercial Vehicle Technician at Goodyear, you will be tasked with the professional inspection, diagnosis, and repair of tires, as well as conducting alignments for commercial vehicles, all while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, recommend, and execute vehicle alignments for commercial trucks and other vehicles based on customer requirements.
  • Balance wheel assemblies and perform tire services for commercial vehicles.
  • Engage in training opportunities to expand your skills in additional vehicle services, including brake systems, suspension, axle maintenance, and oil changes.
  • Maintain and clean service equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver 'Service Excellence - Always' to achieve the service objectives of the center and meet customer expectations.
  • Document all work performed accurately on service tickets.
  • Adhere to all safety and liability protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform various manual tasks, which may involve lifting heavy items, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with commercial vehicles, particularly in alignments.
  • A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type required for the role, meeting commercial driver qualification standards.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in commercial vehicle service.
  • Familiarity with additional vehicle services, including brake and oil change services.
