Job Details

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Superintendent to join our team in the multifamily construction sector. This role offers the chance to engage in a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of delivering projects on schedule and within budget, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to quality and safety. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role is required.

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
2. Coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce for optimal resource utilization.
3. Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during all construction activities.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to assess progress and quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
5. Communicating effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
6. Preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, recommending improvements where necessary.
7. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements.
8. Managing changes to the scope of work, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction field, particularly in hardscape, concrete, multifamily, commercial, and slab projects.
2. Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management abilities, capable of motivating a diverse workforce.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
7. Proficiency in construction management software and relevant IT tools.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
