Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at iQuasar, LLC. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse range of IA activities oriented on planning, strategy, audit, and compliance tasks.
Serving as the service owner/manager for Information Assurance services, you will maintain and coordinate system compliance with the DOD, USTRANSCOM, Air Force, Navy, and JECC information Security (INFOSEC) policies and instructions.
You will submit IA related documents and reports using tools/products provided by the servicing agency, coordinate with service providers on security and information assurance topics, and respond to and assist in development of certification and accreditation packages.
Additionally, you will develop, prepare, and make recommendations on policy requirements to include evaluating new requirements to ensure continual certification and accreditation compliance.
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will perform audits of JECC Perform Local Registration Authorities (LRA) Information Assurance Officer (IAO) activities and equipment, support strategic development, short/medium/long range planning, operations, and projects associated with JECC Cyber Security operations.
You will serve as the J6's point person for Cyber Security-expertise, collaborate with Network engineering staff to develop strategies for monitoring, improving, and responding to cyber threats and scenarios, and support development of JECC Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and artifacts.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) Benchmarks and Checklists is required.
