We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at H&M Hennes & Mauritz Gruppe. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth, while ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Profit Growth
    • Analyze and follow up on sales and profit key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department
    • Work with visual merchandisers to maximize selling and implement actions to achieve sales goals
  • Lead Store Operations
    • Work with the store management team to ensure store operations, H&M standards, and best practices are followed
    • Secure store operations, including scheduling, to maximize conversion and enable commercial activities
  • Develop and Lead the Team
    • Manage the recruitment, training, development, and succession planning of team members
    • Evaluate and manage the performance of team members, providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
    • Ensure H&M customer service standards are always delivered through active coaching and leading by example
    • Actively participate in executing store routines and tasks, including delivery truck, garment processing, reductions, and price changes
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of transferable experience
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items
  • Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
  • Open availability, including evenings and weekends
  • May be required to travel to support other stores and for training
