Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Harmony Recovery Center. As a key member of our clinical department, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the clinical services, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and scheduling of clinical staff and interns.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a mental health-related field, be licensed in the State of practice, and have at least 2 years of experience in mental health and substance use program management. You will be responsible for providing clinical training to clinical services staff, leading daily staff briefing meetings, and conducting therapeutic services as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department in the absence of the Clinical Director
  • Conduct group supervision, twice monthly, and individual supervision, once a month
  • Communicate any staff challenges to the Clinical Director
  • Recommend plans for improvement for clinical team members
  • Assist with hiring new clinical team members and conduct interviews as needed
  • Initiate, implement, and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices
  • Work with other members of the management team to ensure successful communication and coordination between all departments
  • Provide clinical training to clinical services staff and interns
  • Lead daily staff briefing meetings
  • Conduct crisis assessments, suicide assessments, and safety plans as needed
  • Review and communicate UR review dates and respond to UR and Medical Request emails
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a mental health-related field
  • Licensed in the State of practice
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health and substance use program management
  • Ability to work as a team member and possess strong management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws, Drug Free Workplace Policies, Workplace Violence, and Corporate Integrity and Compliance Programs
Working Conditions and Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and high-stress, with stringent monthly deadlines and quotas. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee must be able to work in a team environment and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
