NICU Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Department Manager to join our team at Medstaffing Network. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical and operational functions of the NICU department, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective nursing practices and policies to ensure quality patient care and a safe environment.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality patient outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective care.
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a NICU or similar setting.
- Proven track record of improving patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
