Job Title: Senior Engineering Program Manager - Innovation

At Apple, we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge machine learning technologies that impact over 1 billion customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate status.
  • Handle risks and mitigations, re-plan as events warrant, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define key deliverables to measure quality of Apple Intelligence features with Privacy at the core.
  • Bring impact to billions of users with your ML expertise, passion for great user experiences, and project management skills.
  • Work with data science and data engineering teams to develop data collection and evaluation solutions.
  • Work with annotation operation teams to optimize and lead human data collection and evaluations efforts.
  • Work with engineering, privacy, and legal teams to develop safe data collection.
  • Work with research teams to develop long-term evaluation solutions.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in driving large-scale program building machine learning powered products.
  • Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Experience working with data science dashboards, reporting, and A/B Testing.
  • Have personally orchestrated the delivery of multiple significant client/server software products requiring large organizations (100+).
  • Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to peel the onion to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

  • Pay and benefits will be determined within a range, with a base pay range of $157,000 to $278,900.
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
