About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead our Search and Information team in Siri, Spotlight, and Safari. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving program management efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery and deployment of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead program management efforts for Search and Information in Siri, Spotlight, and Safari
  • Coordinate and drive early engagements on product architecture, feature definition, and program execution
  • Collaborate with all partner organizations relevant for a project
  • Communicate clear, timely, and objective updates to executive teams
  • Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics
  • Create and run project timelines with clear dependencies and critical path
  • Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant
  • Drive alignment across the organization and between teams
  • Execute on-time delivery and deployment, identifying development and feasibility needs
  • Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, QA management, or similar role leading cross-functional product or software engineering teams
  • 2+ years of experience bringing a product from concept to completion, ideally related to joining together complex backend and front-end systems with the user experience in mind
  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and leading multiple work streams interdependently
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and quality metrics
  • Self-sufficient in analyzing and drawing conclusions about quality from raw and refined data
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies
  • Experience shipping AI/ML products/projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: BS/MS/PhD EE/CS/CE or equivalent
