About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Program Manager to join our Siri Platforms team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving programs and projects that support the development of our Siri Assistant technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive feature definition, system architecture, timelines, milestones, risk management, and program execution for programs and projects supporting Siri Platforms.
  • Collaborate with multiple partner organizations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide clear, timely, concise, and objective communication, including regular program status updates, critical issues, and mitigations.
  • Break down complex issues into manageable chunks to drive engineering, design, and other teams to alignment.
  • Own the program end-to-end, from inception to delivery, and create and manage project timelines and milestones with clear dependencies, critical path, and deliverables.
  • Manage risks, mitigations, and re-plan as needed to ensure on-time delivery and deployment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, leading cross-functional data and software engineering teams delivering consumer-facing technology products.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently.
  • Solid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs.
  • Thorough understanding of testing, build, and release processes for complex software.
  • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution and management and influence.
  • Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation.
  • Ability to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in project or program management.
  • Proficiency in Agile, SDLC development processes.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching and team-building.
  • Superior group facilitation and interviewing.
