Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stock Assembler to join our team at Weatherby, Inc. in Sheridan, WY. As a Stock Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products to meet quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and products to specifications using various tools and equipment.
  • Operate pneumatic equipment and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Perform final inspection for finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Load, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary and stop machines when problems occur.
  • Fill out daily production logs to track work activity and operation performance.
  • Installation of 3DHex Recoil Pad.
  • Use hand tools to set up and adjust equipment.
  • Perform routine inspection of parts to ensure surface finishes and dimensions meet specifications.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to process technicians or leaders.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow prescribed safety procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to use and read measuring instruments.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working Conditions

The employee will be exposed to a manufacturing/factory environment and will be required to wear personal protective equipment. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
