Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Engineering Manager to join our team at Stryker Employment Company, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of new products and processes, ensuring they meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the technical assessment and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver new products in line with divisional pipelines, participating in business forums as required.
  • Team Development: Develop skills matrices to identify training and coaching needs for team members, ensuring they acquire and maintain technical and team-based skills.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare and deliver annual budgets for review and approval, including headcount, expense, and capital expenditures.
  • Leadership: Provide direction to the team in complex situations, remove obstacles, and assign resources as needed.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure the implementation, enforcement, and compliance of all relevant quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Product Validation: Identify, hire, and manage contract SMEs to validate and release new processes/equipment to production.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Partner with HR to identify, acquire, and retain top talent within the team.
  • Prioritization: Establish priorities and impart a sense of urgency to effectively deliver new products within quality, cost, and time constraints.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of working experience, with 3+ years in leadership experience in engineering support and/or project management.
  • Preferred Skills: Advanced degree, building relationships and negotiating, experience in managing new products or process teams, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated leadership and project management experience in new product introduction in a regulated environment.
