Water Resources Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our Water group, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating waterway structures, locks, dams, and other water resources projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling for water resources projects
  • Design and evaluate waterway structures, locks, dams, and other water resources projects
  • Develop and implement water resources engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Lead and mentor junior staff to develop their skills and knowledge in water resources engineering
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • MS Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • PE license in the state where office is located, or ability to obtain
  • 7 or more years of experience in water resources engineering
  • Strong knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
