Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the technical assessment and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and cost constraints.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver new products in line with divisional pipelines.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and implement skills matrices to ensure team members have the necessary training and coaching to acquire and maintain technical and team-based skills.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and deliver annual budgets for final review and approval, including headcount, expense, and capital expenditures.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure the implementation, enforcement, and compliance of all relevant quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, hire, and manage contract SMEs to validate and release new processes/equipment to production in line with Stryker systems and specifications.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Partner with HR to identify, acquire, and retain top talent within the team.
  • Priority Setting: Establish priorities and impart a sense of urgency and importance to effectively deliver new products per quality, cost, and time constraints.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S. in Engineering, Science, or Business discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of working experience, with 3+ years in leadership experience in engineering support and/or project management.
  • Preferred Skills: Advanced degree, building relationships and negotiating, experience in managing new products or process teams, strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
