Purpose
The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a sales agent within the designated territory, achieving all sales targets for Chiesi USA's promoted hospital products while adhering to the company's standards and expectations.
Main Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
1. Engage with targeted customers to promote and sell Chiesi USA products in line with approved methodologies within your assigned territory.
2. Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet territory and national goals.
3. Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with key medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, and medical staff.
4. Identify and nurture influential customers as local advocates.
5. Schedule and conduct effective meetings with targeted clients and colleagues.
6. Execute special programs within the territory to maximize sales opportunities, such as speaker's bureau initiatives and symposiums.
7. Continuously adapt sales strategies to ensure optimal outcomes for both physicians and the company.
8. Prepare reports and presentations for management as needed.
9. Analyze monthly sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
10. Quickly gain proficiency with products and sales tools to effectively communicate with a knowledgeable audience.
11. Manage the territory budget in accordance with company guidelines.
Experience Required
Minimum:
Two years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Preferred:
Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales, particularly in areas such as Cath Lab, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Anesthesia, and Neurology.
Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and public speaking, are essential.
Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory effectively.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Proficiency in presenting scientific information using visual aids and technical data is crucial.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are required.
Successful completion of training and product knowledge assessments is necessary.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Travel Requirements:
Overnight travel is expected to meet with customers in the territory. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Education
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university is required.
