Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient service, responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient accounts, including billing, follow-up, and resolving issues related to payment or insurance.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
  • Register patients, verifying demographic information and obtaining necessary signatures and forms.
  • Collect patient payments, providing accurate receipts and posting payments in the system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and mail distribution.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry experience, with proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
