Position Summary
The Health and Safety Compliance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing all aspects of Safety and Sanitation adherence at the venue. The ideal candidate will serve as a champion for health and safety, prioritizing people and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guiding operational leaders to ensure comprehensive understanding of all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Conducting regular training sessions for team members to enhance knowledge of best practices and address any emerging risks or concerns.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all safety-related records, including temperature logs.
- Performing routine safety inspections and walk-throughs.
- Overseeing the implementation of Levy's safety and sanitation initiatives at the venue.
- Collaborating with the HR team to ensure timely completion and tracking of all mandatory safety and sanitation training.
- Conducting regular building inspections and walk-throughs with the operations team to identify potential safety hazards.
- Leading efforts with the Home Office Risk Management team to address and manage any safety and claims issues.
- Coordinating with operations and culinary teams to ensure timely completion and proper storage of all mandatory records.
- Ensuring the prompt completion and storage of all team member accident reports.
- Facilitating regular 'Tool-box talk' training sessions with hourly team members.
- Collaborating with the partner facilities team to address any shared concerns regarding team member safety.
- Providing immediate coaching for any team members not adhering to established procedures.
- Offering knowledgeable assistance in reporting, monitoring, and resolving team member, foodborne illness, liquor liability, and guest claims.
- Working with local OSHA, sanitation, or Everclean inspectors to support inspections or local initiatives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
- Background in health and safety is preferred.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong passion for safety and sanitation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
