We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at Jennifer Sanzari DMD PA. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health in our community.
Responsibilities- Welcome patients into the treatment area and create a comfortable and welcoming environment
- Discuss dental care plans with patients and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Prepare and sterilize equipment for exams and procedures
- Accurately record patient medical histories
- Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
- Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
- Teach patients good oral hygiene techniques
- Take x-rays as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Associate's Degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation certified school, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- Current Dental Hygienist licensure
- At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dentistry safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
