Role Summary
As a Hyperbaric Technologist, you will play a crucial role in patient care, ensuring a safe and effective treatment environment. You will work closely with patients, fostering trust and confidence through your expertise. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative setting and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare for each HBOT session to guarantee a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
- Provide education to patients regarding hyperbaric therapy.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatments.
- Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and associated systems safely and effectively.
- Conduct therapy and equipment orientations for new patients.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist patients with their needs, delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations.
- Manage the oxygen delivery system as required.
- Utilize critical thinking and interpersonal skills to enhance the patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Certification or licensure in Massachusetts, or a diploma from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of six months of experience as a Paramedic or EMT.
- CHT certification is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Availability for occasional work outside of regular hours is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient computer skills are essential.
