Key Responsibilities- Perform special inspections and material testing services at commercial construction sites to ensure quality control and quality assurance.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to accurately assess test results.
- Complete testing assignments accurately and in accordance with industry standards.
- Record and report results in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicate regularly with direct supervisors to provide updates on project details.
- High School Diploma required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or technology is ideal, although not necessary.
- Must possess at least one International Code Council (ICC) certification for one of the following Special Inspector categories: Reinforced Concrete, Soils, Masonry, Spray Applied Fireproofing, Steel & Bolt, or Steel & Weld, or American Concrete Institute (ACI) Grade 1, or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) Certificate through a State Board.
- Possess ability to maintain effective working relationships with managers, co-workers, and clients through clear communication and proactive progress reporting.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
