Cryogenic Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cryogenic Service Technician to join our team at Matheson Tri-Gas. As a Cryogenic Service Technician, you will be responsible for safely constructing and installing all types of liquid and/or gaseous cryogenic supply systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct and install cryogenic supply systems, including piping, valves, and regulators.
  • Professionally interact with project managers, sales teams, customers, contractors, engineers, and inspectors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate installation and operation of cryogenic systems.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair of cryogenic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cryogenic systems installation and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company service truck.
