Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Health Images. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to patients and providers
  • Check patients in and out, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient processing
  • Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as necessary
  • Listen and resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Enter accurate data for patient registration and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with medical records and ensure all queues are processed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage eRIS Center workflow, including daily schedule, billing, and collection of TOS
  • Stay up-to-date on carrier-related issues and identify specific concerns
  • Monitor schedule and ensure all data, attachments, and history are complete before exams are completed
  • Facilitate no-show appointments and reschedule as needed
  • Request orders and process new/same-day requests
  • Request patients complete satisfaction surveys after exams
Requirements
  • One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver with strong communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment and continuously exceed company and customer expectations
