We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, patients, and staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer multiple phone lines, collect information, and route calls and messages appropriately to various departments.
- Schedule and check-in and out for appointments for various specialty departments and emergency room.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients waiting, including emotionally challenging and emergent situations.
- Manage walk-in euthanasia, including reviewing cremation options.
- Collect deposits, fees, and invoices utilizing multiple payment methods.
- Manage client accounts, records, and associated paperwork.
- Follow established procedures, call for urgent assistance for critical patients presenting through the Emergency Room.
- Maintain accurate wait times for Emergency Room and update clients as appropriate.
- Rotate through dedicated phone support shifts, managing all incoming calls.
- Manage utilization of all exam rooms.
- At least one year of in-person customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, internet navigation, and messaging programs.
- Ability to speak in an understandable manner and understand the English language.
