Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced restaurant environment and be able to lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals.
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement menus, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet the expectations of our guests.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
- At least two years of progressive management experience in the restaurant industry, with a preference for boutique or upscale dining establishments.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required; fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
