About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician I to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As an Electrician I, you will be responsible for all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to estimate project costs and manage electrical projects
  • Control costs based on project budgets and possess working knowledge of the electrical industry
  • Manage site acquisition, engineering, and construction projects in compliance with established processes and policies
  • Use knowledge of customer's networks and business models to determine future opportunities to deploy additional products and services
  • Conduct risk management and contingency planning, negotiation of complex or sensitive issues to a favorable resolution
  • Enforce the MasTec Network Solutions quality program and ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are followed
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
  • Ability to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively
  • Ability to lift and/or carry minimum of 15 lbs
