Traffic Management Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
The certified Traffic Management Supervisor will be primarily responsible for overseeing the flow of traffic on the project.

This encompasses, but is not limited to, the setup, operation, upkeep, and servicing of traffic control apparatus, hazard recognition, and training of personnel.

Additionally, the supervisor is required to maintain a daily log to document traffic management activities. They will also act as a point of contact with the Owner regarding the Contractor's traffic management practices.

Formulate a comprehensive traffic control strategy.

Implement and dismantle traffic control apparatus in accordance with the traffic control strategy.

Assign tasks to flaggers and evaluate their performance.

Oversee inventory management, ensure quality control of existing stock, and provide the necessary quantities for each project.

Complete daily traffic management reports.

Conduct regular inspections of traffic control apparatus and initiate corrective measures as necessary.

Qualifications:

Experience & Education/Certification:
2-5 years of experience in a comparable position.

High School diploma/GED required.

ATSSA Certification/SHA Traffic Manager Certification required (certifications must be valid for MD and DE).

Experience in highway operations is essential.

Valid driver's license is required.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:
Must have a solid understanding of traffic control devices.

Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
