Position Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing the activities of personnel engaged in the upkeep and sanitation of commercial facilities, including landscaping and snow management.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Organizing staff schedules to ensure sufficient coverage for all operational duties.
2. Adhering to the established daily cleaning protocols.
3. Implementing step-by-step procedures for each cleaning assignment.
4. Following manufacturer guidelines for all cleaning agents and equipment.
5. Complying with safety regulations while operating machinery.
6. Delegating tasks to team members and evaluating completed work for quality assurance.
7. Managing inventory and procurement of supplies and equipment.
8. Keeping all tools and supply areas well-organized.
9. Addressing employee concerns or escalating issues to the Area Manager as necessary.
10. Submitting maintenance requests for equipment repairs to the Area Manager.
11. Assisting in the duties of supervised staff as needed.
12. Ensuring cleanliness standards meet client expectations.
13. Engaging with colleagues and the public in a professional and friendly manner.
14. Providing input for employee performance evaluations as requested.
15. Completing payroll tasks as required.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; two years of relevant experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with clients and supervision of staff.
