Nurse Interventionist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled and experienced Research Nurse Interventionist to join our team in Olympia, Washington.
About the RoleThis part-time position (20 hours a week) requires a registered nurse with a strong background in clinical research and intervention. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing EPIC schedules, screening and consenting participants, administering questionnaires, collecting nose and throat swabs, and performing blood draws.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project intervention plans and tools, data collection instruments, and manual of operations
- Train new employees and prepare reports
- Plan, implement, and monitor participant safety and data quality control measures
- Participate in research project team meetings and identify problems and propose solutions
- Perform medical record review and telephone interviews, in-person interviews, or physical assessments as required
A minimum of two years of experience in clinical research and intervention is required. A thorough understanding of regulatory policies, HIPAA requirements, and patient safety and quality control requirements is essential. A master's degree or PhD in a health-related field is preferred.
