Interventional Radiology Nurse

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse Interventionist to join our team in Olympia, Washington.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to work on a CDC research study to evaluate the effectiveness of the flu vaccine. This is a great opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare.
Responsibilities:- Review EPIC schedules and screen participants for eligibility
- Conduct in-person interviews and collect nose and throat swabs from participants
- Administer a questionnaire and collect blood draws from a subset of participants
- Utilize professional clinical skills and knowledge to evaluate participant responses and make independent clinical judgments
- Develop project intervention plans and tools, data collection instruments, and manual of operations
- Plan, implement, and monitor participant safety and data quality control measures
- Minimum two (2) years of experience performing professional functions required by the project
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
- Continual updating of skills and knowledge related to research
- Masters degree or PhD in health-related field
- Certifications, licenses, or degrees as determined by the needs of the research projects
