Research Nurse Interventionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Interventionist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente Washington clinics. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in conducting clinical research studies, including phlebotomy, data collection, and participant recruitment.
Responsibilities- Conduct clinical evaluations, interventions, and measurements, utilizing professional clinical knowledge and education.
- Develop and implement project intervention plans, data collection instruments, and manual of operations.
- Evaluate participant responses and make independent clinical judgments regarding patient safety and participation issues.
- Participate in research project team meetings, identify problems, and propose solutions.
- Perform medical record reviews, telephone interviews, and in-person interviews, requiring professional clinical background and education.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience performing professional functions required by the project.
- Certifications, licenses, or degrees as determined by the needs of the research projects, such as registered nurse, nurse practitioner, certified mental health therapist/specialist, MSW, pharmacist, physical therapist, certified health education specialist, clinical psychologist, acupuncturist.
- Masters degree or PhD in health-related field.
This is a temporary position lasting approximately 4-6 months during flu season. You will work at Urgent Care in Olympia, reviewing EPIC schedules, screening, consenting, administering questionnaires, and collecting nose and throat swabs from participants. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
