Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate feeding machinery to guarantee the effective feeding and alignment of components in accordance with production specifications.
  2. Oversee machine operations, including feeding speeds, component alignment, and machinery performance, to sustain peak efficiency and quality benchmarks.
  3. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on feeding equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
  4. Identify and address minor mechanical issues as they occur during production, referring more complex problems to maintenance personnel as necessary.
  5. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  6. Keep precise production records, including component counts, downtime documentation, and quality assessment data.
  7. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and pinpoint areas for process enhancement.
  8. Ensure a tidy and organized workspace, including the removal of debris and waste materials to avert contamination or safety risks.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machinery operation or a related field is advantageous.
  2. Demonstrated experience as a machinery operator or in a comparable role within a manufacturing context, ideally with experience in operating feeding machinery.
  3. Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to conduct routine maintenance and recognize mechanical problems.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to specific instructions and quality criteria.
  5. Capability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
  6. Basic computer proficiency for data entry and production monitoring.
  7. Physical endurance and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy materials as required.
