ROLE SUMMARY
Handle all requests for reservations, modifications, and cancellations received through various communication channels. Assess guest reservation requirements, identify suitable room types, and confirm availability of desired accommodations and rates. Clarify guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to guests. Address and document specific requests. Provide information regarding property amenities and room options. Employ sales strategies to optimize revenue. Relay details about VIP reservations. Input and retrieve data within the reservation system. Tackle any challenges related to rooming requests by liaising with relevant departments. Ensure accuracy in room blocks and reservations.

Manage group rooming lists utilizing reservation systems, adjust room blocks to maintain the necessary number of available rooms, and keep orderly records of all groups.

Establish appropriate billing accounts in accordance with accounting guidelines.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets.

Greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards; anticipate and respond to guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately; answer phones with proper etiquette.

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; collaborate to achieve common objectives; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. Read and verify information in various formats. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

Licenses or Certifications:
None required.
