We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner to join our Service Operations team at Currys Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Director of Service Operations and their Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partnering: Develop a deep understanding of the Service Operations business unit and provide financial guidance to the Director and SLT to inform strategic decisions.
- Financial Performance Management: Manage and communicate weekly financial performance updates to the Director and SLT, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead the forecasting process for Service Operations budgets, defining the timetable and engaging with stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive forecasting.
- Business Case Development: Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes and develop robust business cases to present to governance forums.
- Process Improvement: Drive improvements in ways of working within the role, across the Finance team, and across Service Operations, including simplifying and automating performance reporting and streamlining processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, support, and develop the offshore accounting team responsible for delivering weekly and period-end financial reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders to deliver improved business outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen, adept at comprehending complex business areas, and skilled in identifying opportunities and executing them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex messages in a compelling manner.
