Position Overview

The Guest Services Coordinator will act as the primary interface for guests, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience. This role involves being the first point of contact for guests upon arrival and managing all aspects of their stay, including check-in and check-out procedures. The Coordinator will also be responsible for generating, reviewing, and printing necessary reports to fulfill daily operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the guest experience from arrival to departure, addressing complex requests such as room changes and inventory adjustments.
  • Issue room keys while maintaining the security and safety of all guests.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely cleaning and repairs.
  • Exceed guest expectations through effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Manage a cash bank, perform end-of-day financial reporting, and handle guest transactions.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and direct them to appropriate personnel when necessary.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of one year of experience in customer service, ideally within a hospitality or resort environment, is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand resort management software.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware and peripheral devices necessary for the role.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
