Your Role:

As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing table maintenance tasks in alignment with company service standards.
  • Carrying out Opening, Running, and Closing responsibilities as per company guidelines.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Maintaining an organized and inviting atmosphere by actively circulating throughout the work area.
  • Ensuring the floor remains tidy, free of food debris, trash, and other hazards during your shift.
  • Promptly cleaning spills and utilizing caution signs to ensure guest and staff safety.
  • Properly disposing of trash and recyclables in designated receptacles.
  • Keeping the service line stocked and clean throughout your shift.
  • Staying updated on all standard operating procedures.
  • Being knowledgeable about current menu items and their descriptions.
  • Adhering to private party service protocols to guarantee event success.
  • Assisting fellow employees as required.
  • Complying with all safety standards.
  • Occasionally working during special events scheduled at the venue.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Background in food service as either an Expeditor or Server in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • A strong sense of urgency.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems.
  • Previous food service experience in a high-volume setting.
Work Environment:

  • The work environment is dynamic, often loud, and can be stressful.
  • This position requires prolonged periods of standing and being on your feet.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs using appropriate lifting techniques is necessary.
