About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Landscaping Construction Estimator to join our team at SS Landscaping Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate bid solicitations and assign projects to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates, considering landscaping and irrigation techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements and deliver top-notch landscaping solutions.
  • Source and evaluate materials, labor, and equipment costs to provide comprehensive estimates.
  • Prepare and present detailed bid proposals and value engineering opportunities to clients.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and follow-up activities to ensure seamless project management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, Planswift, and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
