Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for the parish, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to staff, parishioners, and external partners. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the parish master calendar and schedule facilities use
Order office supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory
Assist with budget preparation and financial management
Provide receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors
Perform clerical and secretarial tasks, such as preparing correspondence and taking minutes

Requirements

College degree preferred or 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in computer software and data base programs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions

Accountability

The Administrative Assistant will report to the Pastor and work closely with other staff members to achieve the parish's goals and objectives.
