Position Overview

The Sales Planning and Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in managing essential support functions that drive productivity. This includes responsibilities related to planning, reporting, quota establishment, and optimizing sales processes.

The Analyst collaborates with both retail and wholesale teams to define business objectives, serving as a key contact for regular reporting and analytical insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes within the sales organization
  • Continuously monitor and ensure high levels of quality, accuracy, and consistency in sales planning efforts
  • Manage weekly replenishment reporting and coordinate with the sales planner for optimal allocation
  • For new boutiques, establish appropriate allocation of product categories based on regional and overall sales
  • Collaborate with other functions and the Brand Manager as needed for planning activities
  • Analyze market trends and explore new retail concepts and tools to drive growth
  • Develop analytical initiatives and respond to brand-specific requests
  • Ensure the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and essential intelligence for the sales team
  • Recommend updates to existing reports or assist in creating new reporting tools as necessary

Professional Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to manage analytically intensive projects
  • Understanding of business and organizational planning principles and processes
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills; excellent oral and written communication abilities; proficiency in systems analysis and evaluation
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning for large organizations
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred
